At BattleKart, individuals who are at least 1.45 meters tall can participate. The minimum height requirement is necessary for the safe use of the karts, otherwise they will not be able to reach the pedals.

In case of doubt, the staff reserves the right to measure the player’s height without shoes using a measuring rod and deny them access to the game if they do not meet this requirement. A refund/vouchers generally can’t be issued in this case.

The use of the electric karts may be challenging and uncomfortable for individuals who weigh over 120 kilograms.

On-site, we do not accept cash, debit card, or credit card payments. It is mandatory to make an online booking. Remaining slots, if available, can also be booked and paid for on-site through our online portal (we strongly recommend online booking in advance!).

When booking online, payment options include credit card, Giropay, Paypal, Klarna, and our gift vouchers. Additionally, promotion codes on our gift cards can be redeemed online.

Generally no special equipment (helmet, protective clothing, etc.) is required because our Karts are equipped with an anti-collision system. However, we do recommend wearing closed footwear and dark clothing/shoes, as tire abrasion can easily stick to white fabrics

We do not offer food ourselves. There are various restaurants within walking distance.

Due to major events in the exhibition hall, there are days when we unfortunately cannot offer battles. Bookable dates are usually made available online 2-4 months in advance. For groups, it may be possible to book appointments outside of regular opening hours upon request. Please check the online booking system for available slots, as they may differ from the schedule.

Of course, our battles are also available for exclusive booking directly through the online portal. Just tick the box “Exclusive-Booking” when choosing your time window. You will be billed for the maximum amount of players (12 players per timeslot) regardless of the actual amount of participants. 

For company events with more than 45 Minutes of exclusive driving, we also offer payment via invoice. For more information please contact info@wien.battlekart.com

There is no special discount for groups.

As our terms and conditions state, we generally do not offer cancellations. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours before your slot starts, we can offer you vouchers or reschedule your slots as a gesture of goodwill. Simply answer to the booking confirmation or write your request to info@wien.battlekart.com & attach your bill/booking confirmation.

1. How does BattleKart work?
   At BattleKart, you drive real electric karts through virtual worlds. We project various tracks and games onto the hall floor using a multitude of projectors mounted on our hall ceiling. Your kart is equipped with sensors and electronics, allowing the karts to interact with each other. For example, you can collect a rocket and ignite it at your steering wheel. If you hit one of your opponents, they will be slowed down for a few seconds, allowing you to overtake.
   
   
2. Is the kart actually driving, or am I in front of a screen?
   You are not in front of a screen; the kart is indeed driving, and you actively control it on our tracks in our nearly 2,000 square meter hall. You accelerate, brake, and steer. Don’t forget to use your collected items like rockets or turbos on the steering wheel at the right moment.
   
   
3. Do I need a VR headset?
   No, players do not need a VR headset. The projections of the games and tracks on the hall floor are so immersive that no VR headset is required. Your reality is enhanced by elements like flying objects.
   
   
4. How many people can drive simultaneously?
   A maximum of 12 karts can drive simultaneously. If your group is larger, we can combine the player scores to provide an overall result at the end.
   
   
5. Is there a minimum age or height requirement to drive?
   There is no minimum age requirement. To safely control the adult karts, a minimum height of 1.45 meters is required.
   
   
6. Can you drive while being pregnant?
   No, unfortunately not.
   
   
7. Is this more for children?
   Absolutely not! We cater to a wide range of age groups. Both 10-year-olds and 75-year-olds have driven at our center and had a blast!
   
   
8. Are there double-seater karts so I can take my child?
   No, we only have single-seater karts, which is why the minimum height of 1.45 meters is necessary to safely operate a kart alone.
   
   
9. How safe are your karts, and why don’t I need to wear a helmet?
   We have an anti-collision system installed to prevent accidents, which is why a helmet is not necessary. Just fasten your seatbelt and go!
   
   
10. What games are available?
    We currently offer five different games: BattleRace with seven different tracks, BattleSnake, BattleColor, BattleFoot, and the brand-new BattleVirus. You can find game descriptions and videos on our homepage.
    
    
11. Can I take shortcuts in BattleRace?
    You could take shortcuts, but it won’t help. Firstly, you’ll be slower on the grass outside the track, and secondly, your lap won’t be counted fully.
    
    
12. How long does a game last?
    A game slot at our venue lasts 15 minutes, including getting in and out of the karts. These 15 minutes can be divided as per the first booking’s preference. Typically, our customers play 3-4 mini-games, each with a duration of 3-5 minutes, per session. This allows you to combine different tracks and games.
    
    
13. Who decides the game content?
    The person who books the game slot first has the authority to decide the game content.
    
    
14. Can I come without an online booking?
    You can only do the booking online. However the online booking is still possible, even a few minutes before the start of the game. We strongly recommend booking online before coming as we can’t guarantee available spots spontaneously.
    
    
15. How much do the games cost per person?
    The first game costs €24.00, and the second and third games become cheaper. Additionally, we offer child prices for those up to 15 years old, with the first game costing €20.00 for a child.
